We will be at the front
desk to greet and welcome you (unless we are shelving books, helping another
patron or any of our other library duties). Please do not hesitate
to ask any one of the staff for help. Our patrons are the most important part
of our job we have here at the library.
We have three computers for patrons
to use. We have one for Internet, one for the on line catalog and one that
you can use for the on line catalog and word processing. The picture you
see of the gentlemen on the wall behind the computers is Charles Decker,
founder of our town Deckerville, MI. You
can read more about the history of Deckerville.
This is our Student
section. The students and parents love to snuggle up with a good book
and read to each other.
In
1999 we celebrated our 75 Anniversary.
Jeanette Kursinsky made up this beautiful birthday card for us. We had a
contest and if you signed our birthday card you could put your name in for a
drawing. So our birthday card is signed by many of our patrons and
guests that came into our library during our contest.
