Summer Reading Club Programs

Summer Reading Programs - The Deckerville Public Library's Summer Reading Programs were a great success. The students did a wonderful job this year and read many books. We had a total of 49 students sign-up with 21 reading 8 books or more they read a total of 615 books.

We had the Summer Reading Club for Preschool - 6th grade and the Summer of Fun for 7th - 12th grade. The students could win prizes at our weekly drawings and there was a grand prize drawing for each group.

The Summer Reading Club had a Pizza Party and Ron Meyer author of Freddy Fox was here to read his book and tell us about his Wildlife Photography. The students won prizes in the Summer Reading Club Party Drawing. Everyone seems to have a wonderful time students as well as parents and staff.
